Had them come out to clean my dryer vent, to find out they couldn't access it because of how the previous owner set up the piping system (not their fault, totally understandable). They suggested I relocate the vent and I agreed 100% - they drilled the hole, installed a new pipe and a very very cheap flap / cover on the outside of the house. Told me the job was done and headed out - I was charged just over $600 for this job. At a quick glance it looked okay. Upon further inspection I find out that the hole they drilled was much bigger than it should have been / chunks of concrete fell out on the outside and they didn't bother to patch it. The hole was big enough for bees, wasps and other bugs to get in. The flap / cover they used didn't even close all the way and would have definitely been a welcoming hole for birds to come and nest into. They instead "pretended" to silicone the edges of the outside cover to make it look like it was fine but it really wasn't. The silicone job was awful, all crooked and squiggly. I emailed, texted and called twice within a week and no reply. So I ended up buying a nice outside cover on Amazon for $16, cleaning up the mess they made and filled the hole with expanding foam. I later on realized that they also threw their leftovers from the job (concrete pieces, tin pieces from the cover and old piping) in my garage instead of disposing of them properly. In other words, I paid them just over $600 to drill a hole (too big of a hole) in my wall, and make a mess. Absolutely disappointing experience - I do not recommend this business.+1Posted on Google

Bryan1105 days agoHad everything done with them (furnace ducts, air exchanger, dryer vent cleaning). Cost around $1,200. Negatives: -They are in the duct cleaning industry and didn't seem to be aware that a common duct layout system in houses involves open ducts that connect to ceilings and walls. I was told my ducts are faulty and that's the reason why they can't get good suction. However, after speaking to HVAC specialists and doing some reading myself online, I found out this is normal and pretty common. This caused me a lot of stress at the time as I thought something was seriously wrong, and the job took much longer because they weren't able to recognize this is normal. It also made the cleaning service sort of redundant for me since the vacuum wouldn't ever be able to get proper suction since it's not a closed system. -I paid $300 for the air exchanger and additional cost for each vent that required cleaning, and I noticed after they left that some of my air exchanger vents were pushed in all the way into the wall, thus preventing air flow. I pulled it out of the wall to find heaps of dust clogged behind the vent (see pictures below). Basically, they only did surface vacuuming of the vent and pushed it in while doing so, and didn't thoroughly clean the inside. You could visibly see clumps of dust on the duct walls if you removed the vents. Positives: -They were nice and professional even when I messaged the owner with the pictures below. He acknowledged the problem and offered to come back and clean again, but I had already washed the vents myself at that point and didn't want the disruption inside my house again. He also offered to issue a partial refund for the dirty vents, but they had already stayed late to try to get better suction from the ducts, and I felt bad about asking for money back in this situation. He assured me that the ducts were dirty and they cleaned out a lot, and I would like to take his word for it. However, I don't have any before and after pictures, and all these vents that I've pulled out myself were still visibly filthy underneath. For these reasons, I won't be reusing their services and cannot recommend their services in the future.+2Posted on Google
